There are online retailers and then there’s MR PORTER. Known for carrying the best while curating an ever-evolving retail experience, I’ve loved navigating the site and browsing The Journal to bookmark things I’d ultimately come back to. But what’s more interesting is the rise of the ‘Mr Porter man’ – easily defined by a style that places emphasis on luxurious essentials that remain understated, thoughtful and polished.
Promoting a similar ethos, Mr P – Mr Porter’s first in-house collection launching today – focuses on breezy basics that are easily paired and layered together or worn as separates. The 53-piece capsule shows strong range and versatility for the season, from cosy knits to casual shirting (i.e. perfect for right now). As for favorites, I was immediately drawn to the finer details on this sharp double-breasted herringbone coat, which I’ve been wearing over Mr P’s sleek Japanese-sourced cotton chambray shirt.
Mr P launches today exclusively on MR PORTER. I’m wearing this selvedge chambray shirt and this double-breasted overcoat. Follow me on @MrEssentialist for daily updates and more things I love. This post is proudly powered by the team at Mr Porter. Photography by Leo Chang and me.
