While you might be opening copious amounts of presents (and hopefully giving plenty in return), I thought I would share my very own virtual tree with you, adorned with a few of my favorite things:
Bow Tie: As you are aware, I’m obsessed with a classic bow tie. This signature ‘Alber’ Lanvin tie is exceptional, and oversized – swoon.
Scented Candle: I think we all endeavor to discover the perfectly scented candle (aka the ideal gift). Tom Dixon‘s ‘Orientalist’ is fantastically flavorful, and gold.
Slippers: Nothing quite sets the festive mood like a bold slipper. Stubbs and Wootton are undoubtedly at the forefront of fancy footwear and (as you might recall) I’m a staunch supporter.
Travel Wallet: It’s quite simple – a man of the world requires a worldly wallet. Smythson‘s crocodile-embossed version is not only beautiful but practical as well, in that it offers four pouches for various currencies.
Shades: So it’s overcast with chance of snow, but that doesn’t mean you should ditch your specs. Let’s just say we all look better in sunglasses, especially if they are Linda Farrow luxe flat-top aviators.
Happy Xmas!
Mr Essentialist’s Christmas Tree:
It’s Christmas – you know, the one day when no excuse is needed to eat, sleep and repeat?
