Life is better when you know what to wear, it’s just getting there that’s tricky. I’ve found developing a solid idea of how you’d like to dress helps (I take screenshots), while never veering far from those initial thoughts will ensure some degree of consistency. Of course there will be moments spent aimlessly staring at your wardrobe willing for newness despite knowing exactly what’s there… Now note this as the primary reason why we all should develop uniforms consisting of the things we actually like.
I’ve been collecting overcoats this season, but not just because I ‘like’ them. They’re the type of staple I’ll use for years to come, plus they’re comfortable and super sharp! So no, I didn’t flinch at adding this Reiss number to my expanding coat collection. Its pale coloring and trim fit sets it apart, making it a perfect transitional piece for the start of spring. Also, I hope it goes without saying that the kicks / specs are on rotation for life.
