Any well-traveled individual will recite the benefits of exclusively ‘carrying on’. I still remember George Clooney breezing through security in Up in the Air – perhaps this is the best reference for my own travel goals. In terms of what to pack, I like to begin by keeping things structured and organized. I’ve recently been flying with my new Rimowa – an instant love affair (mostly because it’s matte black). Besides that, a simple black sweater and grey sweatpants (both by Acne), a fresh pair of sneakers, my dopp kit and laptop all are beyond essential at 30,000ft.
