Nothing screams spring like showing some skin! From t-shirts to shorts, it’s finally time to lose the layers and embrace the warmer season. As a first step, why not liberate your legs and go sockless? Being ever-inspired by the off-duty, preppy uniforms of Martha’s Vineyard and Cape Cod, I decided to grab a pair of Sperry boat shoes to set the mood. Aside from comfort and convenience (I like to slide mine on for quick errands), my trusty Sperry’s work with so many outfits, mostly because of their classic silhouette.
Colorwise I went with classic brown, pairing my Sperry’s with navy denim and an easy hoodie to an early morning meeting at Variety Coffee Roasters in Chelsea. The result? Sleek yet approachable, and therefore very essential.
