As we find ourselves in the midst of winter, you may find yourself squirreling-away all your shades.
Well, squirrel-not because winter weather often dictates a strong need for sunglasses. Ok, so you might be jetting-off to the alps, but even if you’re hanging in the City be sure to preserve your oculi.
Cutler & Gross‘ round acetate shades are perfectly suited for wintery rays – the fact that they are ombre means I love them even more.
Thom Browne‘s tortoise shell frames are fantastic for hitting the slopes. I love the leather winglet details – partly because they will block unwanted gales, but mostly because they are vintage-inspired.
Illesteva ‘s Murdoch shades are translucent – translation awesome (!). These frames will work well year-round, but for right now will be the finishing touch on any winter white look.
